Why are leaves falling off my Jade plant? If your Jade Plant is receiving insufficient water, the plant starts to shed leaves. Water your Jade Plant if the soil feels dry. Water your plant overtime the top 2 inches of the soil dries up. 3. Why are my Crassula Ovata leaves turning yellow? Overwatering leads to yellowing of leaves. These leaves will eventually drop.
