• SNAKE PLANT

    Scientific Name:- Sansevieria trifasciata

     

    Descrtiption:-  It is most commonly known as the snake plant, mother-in-law’s tongue, and viper’s bowstring hemp, among other names.The NASA Clean Air Study found S. trifasciata has air purification qualities, removing 4 of the 5 main toxins. By using the crassulacean acid metabolism process, it is one of the few plants which also remove carbon dioxide at night.

     

    Water:– 1 week in summers/occasional watering/drier conditions

  • BOSTON FERN

    Scientific Name:- Nephrolepis exalta “Bostoniensis”

     

    Descrtiption:- The fronds of Nephrolepis exaltata are 50–250 cm long and 6–15 cm broad, with alternate pinnae (the small “leaflets” on either side of the midrib), each pinna being 2–8 cm long.Also known as the Boston swordfern, wild Boston fern, tuber ladder fern, or fishbone fern

     

    Water:– Moist soil at all times/Indirect Sunlight

     

    Soil:- For greening up faded ferns, mix 1/4 cup Epsom salt to a gallon of water & pour in the fern. Wait 3-4 days & your fern should again be deep green in color

    Other:- They won’t stand dry air.They require frequent spraying of the leaves, especially during the hot seasons.

     

  • KIMBERLY QUEEN FERN

    Scientific Name:- Nephrolepis obliterata

     

    Descrtiption:-Nephrolepis obliterata, the Kimberley Queen fern, is a species of fern in the family Lomariopsidaceae. This fern originated in Australia, but is relatively easy to cultivate indoors worldwide.Nephrolepis obliterata prefer bright, but indirect sunlight. Temperatures between 16 °C and 24 °C are best. Nephrolepis obliterata is sensitive to both too little and too much water, so water the plant well but permit the soil to dry out between waterings
